If the employee has been laid off until further notice, the employer must notify the employee of the start of work at least seven days before the employee is set to return to work, unless otherwise agreed.
The employee has the right to take on other work for the duration of the lay-off. However, the employee is obliged to return to the job from which they were laid off seven days after the employer’s notification.
The employee has the right to terminate their employment contract they signed with another employer for the duration of the lay-off with five days’ notice.
