YTK Unemployment fund
YTK Unemployment Fund was founded by Finnish wage earners and is wholly owned by its members. Our goal is a safer and more functional working life that benefits everyone. Members are represented by a board consisting of experts in areas critical to administration. The fund operates in accordance with the Unemployment Fund Act and under the supervision of the Financial Supervisory Authority.
Independence is an important value for us. We are politically non-aligned and do not act on behalf of any political party or against any political party. Our advocacy work is guided by the best interests of our members and the overall good of society.
The interests of our members guide all our activities. As a member of YTK, you have income security from the YTK Unemployment Fund in case of unemployment or layoff. In addition, you receive support from the fund for job searching. YTK Spark makes your job search faster and easier.
YTK Worklife
YTK Worklife is Finland’s largest association, helping its more than 260 000 members by inspiring, guiding, and empowering them through the ups and downs of working life. Founded in 2005, the association was created because members of the YTK Unemployment Fund wanted additional security alongside their unemployment insurance and decided to jointly purchase legal protection insurance. The same service remains available to every member of YTK Worklife.
Currently, YTK Worklife membership benefits also include legal advice for employment disputes, accident insurance for leisure time, a comprehensive online training service, and many benefits for overall well-being.
You can join YTK Worklife if you are a member of the YTK Unemployment Fund. Students can join without being members of the fund.
YTK Worklife’s main office is located in Loimaa at the same address as the YTK Unemployment Fund.
