Confidence and job search skills from our new coaching pathway

As a member of the YTK Unemployment Fund, you will receive a wide range of support and tools to find a new job. The brand new coaching provided by Eezy Employment Services will introduce you to effective and versatile ways of looking for work. The coaching is also designed to boost your confidence and encourage you to try different ways of finding a new job.

“We want every member to be able to apply for a job with confidence. Our first aim is to provide what we call the basic building blocks for mastering job search skills”, says Mirva Puranen, Service Manager of the YTK Unemployment Fund.

There is something for everyone in the Eezy coaching pathway, and each person can choose from the different areas to suit their own needs. “We have a long experience of coaching and guiding jobseekers. We understand the challenges that jobseekers face and therefore we know how to offer the right tools”, says Marika Lehtonen, Development Manager at Eezy Employment Services.

Highlighting skills and boosting self-esteem

The coaching will cover topics such as how to identify and articulate your own skills. When looking for a job, it is essential to be able to highlight your own strengths at different stages of the job search in a way that attracts the interest of the employer.

“The coaching provides participants with a practical model for expressing their own skills and strengths in their CVs and job applications,” says Mirva Puranen.

“The coaching includes all the key contents for a modern job search. The information sections and easy and clear tasks help you to understand your own situation and your own opportunities”, says Sanna Voutilainen, Service Manager at Eezy Employment Services.

New services coming in 2025

The first job search services have been developed in the YTK Unemployment Fund during autumn 2024.

“We are looking forward to helping you find a job. Anyone can find countless tips and advice on job search online, but we offer our members a ready-to-use, high-quality package for mastering basic job search skills without having to search for information on their own or think about what advice to use and how”, says Mirva Puranen.

All the services offered by the YTK Fund are easily accessible through OmaYTK. So the services are where our members are – up to 40 000 – 50 000 of our members visit OmaYTK every month.  

“The services also include, for example, a work personality assessment. It gives you a comprehensive summary and a whole host of ideas for articulating your strengths. You can usually only do similar assessments if you progress to the assessment stage of the recruitment process”, says Puranen. 

New services are on the way for members to support employment in 2025, including a service where job seekers and jobs meet with the help of artificial intelligence.

Mirva Puranen encourages members to give feedback on services. It is possible to send feedback, for example in the workspace where the tools can be found.

“We develop services for our members. That’s why we want to hear what their wishes and needs are. It’s important for us to offer support that is of real benefit in finding new meaningful work and creating a happier working life.”
