When Eeva*, a YTK Worklife member, was terminated, Eduhouse’s online training library came to the rescue at the right time. The training courses helped her update her skills and give her the confidence she needed to build a new career. She recommends the training library included in the membership to everyone.

Eeva, a member of the YTK Worklife, has used Eduhouse’s online training library to develop her professional skills. The wide range of training courses has been a significant help along her career path.

Eeva discovered the training library when her employment ended and it was time to look for a new job.

“My previous employment ended due to change negotiations. When I started looking for a new job in a specialist position, I felt quite insecure about my skills, even though I had built up a lot of knowledge and skills in my professional life.”

In particular, the criteria required in the job search process often seemed overwhelming. However, the Eduhouse training library provided exactly the support Eeva needed.

“Thanks to the training I received, I gained a lot of strength and confidence in my job search. It was easier to feel qualified when you knew that your skills had been updated to meet current requirements. I had learned a lot of new things.”

Easy to get to grips with content

“The training library is also easy to use. Users can pick out the topics that interest them and put them into their own sections. The training courses support your own goals by allowing you to create a personalised plan based on your own needs.”

Eeva says that she has completed training in particular on contract law and procurement. In total, the training library contains up to thousands of training courses, which are available to YTK Worklife members free of charge.

In recent months, AI-related content has become particularly popular. Other courses include Adobe and Microsoft 365 software, social media content creation, digital marketing, project or change management, information security and work-life skills.
