Be brave and ask for working time for training – it’s a win-win

Have you ever thought about asking your employer to allow you to attend training sessions during working hours? It’s also a great benefit for your employer to keep your skills up to date and developed – it can even be a competitive advantage! Up-to-date skills and professional development often improve employee efficiency, motivation, job satisfaction and commitment.

By agreeing with your employer on the training that interests you, you can make a difference to your own work, well-being and career development. It also helps the whole organisation to stay competitive and innovative.

Online training is easy to fit flexibly into your and your employer’s schedules – anytime, anywhere!

Suggest training, for example in a performance appraisal interview

Performance appraisals are an excellent opportunity to plan and agree on your training in a way that supports the development of your personal skills as well as the objectives of your employer and the organisation.

The online training library is hosted on Eduhouse, where you can design and create learning paths that fit your and your employer’s specific objectives. In this way, they become an integral part of maintaining your skills and your development plan as an employee. Your achievements are saved in your profile and you can also save certificates for the training you have completed.
